Nonie who aside from having over 30 years of theater experience also dabbles in prominent TV soaps and Indie films, will join the cast of the grand musical starting January 2013.

His remarkable works include Batad sa Paang Palay, Milagros, and Midnight Dancers, among others, which all earned him notable awards. Recently, he made a mark as one of the characters in the highly-acclaimed teleserye “Walang Hanggan”.

You have to be sincere and truthful about your performance in all (TV, film and theater), same process in learning about the character, with the awareness of who’s watching you” shares Nonie.

Even with his left and right TV and film projects, he makes it a point to perform in theater at least twice a year. In 2006, he won Aliw Awards Best Actor in a musical for his role as Valentin in Palacionni Valentin.

The critically-acclaimed actor will play alongside Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo who will also come in fresh as Anna.
