World Vision New Campaign: 2,000 Children in 1,000 Hours

World Vision held a press launch today, August 22 at Kuya J Restaurant, Quezon City and introduced its new child sponsorship campaign entitled “2,000 Children in 1,000 Hours” with World Vision Ambassadors Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Tippy Dos Santos and World Vision Ambassador for Child Sponsorship Joyce Pring.

This new campaign stresses the urgency of World Vision’s cause by posing a challenge to everyone who supports child advocacy and to secure a better future for 2,000 children within 1,000 hours. They’re currently supporting 2,000 unsponsored children who are living in dire situation due to lack of access to clean water, full meals and education.

This campaign aims to draw support from potential sponsors to help provide basic needs to these children and their families and to bring lasting change to their communities.

World Vision also launched a music video entitled “Sama-Sama,” that will help in raising awareness about World Vision and its activities. Some of the featured artists in the video are World Vision Ambassadors Ogie Alcasid, Sam Concepcion, Tippy Dos Santos, Richard Supat, Christian Bautista and Bianca Umali.
