Grandparents day is coming again and SM Supermalls releases newest video made-for-digital Grandparents’ Day video titled “#SMmoments presents ‘Atat”.
As of this moment, this video reached 1.6 MILLION VIEWS and countingand has moved families on digital, most especially Lolos and Lolas, to “HAPPY TEARS” as they recalled their most memorable experiences together with their families and the indescribable joy when they learnt that they’re gonna be grandparents for the first time and the unending love that they have for their family.

Like the grandparents, young couples can relate to the anticipation of the Lolo and Lola characters in the story.
“This is so touching. I remember my daughter gave us an envelope before as a Christmas gift and inside the envelope was the ultra sound picture of the baby and written “Merry Christmas Lolo and Lola,” shared by netizen Alfred Tatoy. “It was the happiest day of my life when i learn that i will be a lola already. It’s almost the same story. Good job, SM team!”
“This made me cry but it’s ‘happy tears.’ A new baby is really one of the best news newly married couples give to their parents,” said Sheena Lazarus. “That’s why the first grandchild is usually the luckiest in the family because he or she was long waited for.”
There were also several netizens who expressed how much they miss their departed grandparents and the previous moments they had at their favorite SM malls.
“I was teary-eyed while watching the video because I remember my husband who is now in Heaven. He was the smartest and most loving Lolo to my 2 apos. We always had a grand time in SM City Cebu especially during Sundays. I miss him dearly!” – Lola Alma Ycong
